Thinking of Christmas Gifts in July 2013

I would think that it would be needless to say, but considering the level of sophistication to many of my readers, it would probably be better to just go ahead and spell it out. Therefore, please be advised that this is one of a number of special edition Sites To See, and all included in it may have something that just might fit quite nicely under your Christmas tree (or stuffed in a stocking) a few very short months from now. As in the regular Sites To See, the link provided below is to the main site, and the images are linked to their particular page, when applicable. The images serve as an example of what they have to offer, and they are not necessarily meant as a recommendation. Although, they do represent something that I liked to at least a certain extent, but since my wife does not like me all that much most of the time (no, I have no idea why, either), I do not expect to see any of them with my name on it. Hopefully, it is better in your family, and I am quite sure that the artisans here would greatly appreciate your business. Besides, spending your money on things that are made and marketed by people not so unlike yourself strikes a blow against corporate greed and all of that other stuff, which is supposed to be a good thing—right?

  1. Okay I admit I have a deep emotional connection to Snowmen, but this little snowman is just adorable! You might laugh, but we have a friend, who enjoys throwing "Christmas in July" parties! She often has it on the hottest day of July too! Main added bonus for her party, nobody is snowed in and has to call up to say they can't make it! :)

  6. I have several pairs of Sharla's (Beaded Tail) earrings and they are wonderful. Plus she gives profits to a variety of animal rescue causes so win-win - you get some lovely jewelry and various charities get a donation!

(I think that emerald ring is a tad over-priced)

  8. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Well, it sounds like you had better get to ordering that little snowman so you can take him to the party!

  9. Thanks for stopping by, my dear TWG!!! Yeah, it would probably make it rather difficult to sneak up on one-legged skipper-doodles with a bunch of jingles a-jangling. Furthermore, the squirrels would undoubtedly have way too much fun watching you, and they already have way too much fun as is.

  12. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear BT!!! Alas, methinks it is wonder that she does not tear me a new one where I would not necessarily have one each and ever day. Oh, but anticipation adds spice to a marriage--right?

  16. Thank you Jerry.

I'm in a non-creative rut. I'm grateful that someone appreciated my work.

Just the boost I needed. I'm flattered to be in the company of such talent.

    Cheers!

  18. Only today I was thinking Christmas will soon be upon us again. This year is flying by all too quickly for my liking. I've already started looking for gift ideas for my nephew's two little kiddies.

Alas, the only one putting gifts under my Christmas is me (not that I put up a Christmas tree anymore - getting too lazy in my old age) - but that way at least I know I'm going to like what I get! ;)

  19. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! We didn't put up a tree last year--mostly on account of not really have room to, but also to keep the kitties from having as much fun as they would have. Gifts were still given, though, and when it comes to buying them from individuals, a little more time may be required.
