A Sunday Drive

Back during our childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Does Gibbs let you hang your head out of the window and bark at passing cars like Duke did?

  4. I am not against this idea, drawing links to other blogs in this way, but I have to say I am disappointed you used the photo from a post I did two years ago and then linked to my current post, which is one that has nothing to do with traveling to the desert. In fact, my current post is about personal feelings and thoughts. It was inapporporiate for you to use it in the link. It tells me you either didn't read my post to see that it wouldn't work or you just hoped by getting people on to my blog they would do their own browsing to find the more appropriate posts. I'm not too happy with the way this was done! Marie at A Colorful World.

    1. Well, my dear Marie, I am very sorry that you are disappointed, and if my explanation to follow does not clear up the confusion, I will be happy to delete the link and your image. The link below the image is to your home page--not your latest post. The image is linked to where it was included in our Sites To See series, which comes before being included in this series for sites still alive when it's their turn. In the Sites To See series, images are linked to the specific post they came from when possible.
