A Sunday Drive

Back during our childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  3. Oh yes, I remember those Sunday drives after church. Sometimes we'd end up in the downtown area...my father would park the car, and we would sit and watch the people stroll by on such a leisurely day. You brought back fond memories.

Hi....I was just at Ken Schneider's blog and your comment was just above mine after I posted...and your words instigated my visit here.

I LOVE this concept and will now go visit others through your drive in blogland!!

    1. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Helen!!! If you are not already familiar with Shadow, who left the comment just above this one, she is an amazing poet living in South Africa.

  6. Scrap Addict is a compelling site, beautiful to look at and it's exciting to see what can be created from items many people would throw away. Thanks.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! Well, Mrs. C may insist that you are no longer useful, but I really don't think she will ever throw you away.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
