Come Monday...Sing it, Freddy!

“Come Monday…” is a weekly series that will involve a review of (or commentary about) websites, movies, documentaries, television shows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time.  Be assured that these reviews will be generally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “Come Monday.”  This is subject to change, however.  In fact, I would be most derelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while.  For rants promote change, and change can be good—right?  Therefore, since good is generally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the parallel universes that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as being something positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).

Well, here I am again with too much to do and not enough energy to do it.  Alas, one would think after spending the last 21 years or so feeling like I am suffering from a fairly severe case of the flu every second of every day that I would be a better manager of what productive time I may have available, but I am still so very wasteful.

So, I will leave you with a song that pretty much sums up my sad situation.  Okay, not really.  For I am not pining away for some long lost love, but I have been wasting a lot of days and nights.  Be assured that I would love to promise to do better, but I have been around me for far too long now.  {Insert double groan and a sigh here.}

Wasted Days and Wasted Nights
Freddy Fender
Wasted days and wasted nights
I have left for you behind
For you don't belong to me
Your heart belongs
To someone else

Why should I keep loving you
When I know that you're not true
And why should I call your name
When you're to blame
For making me blue

Don't you remember the day
That you went away
And left me
I was so lonely
Prayed for you only
My love

Why should I keep loving you
When I know that you're not true
And why should I call your name
When you're to blame
For making me blue

Don't you remember the day
That you went away
And left me
I was so lonely
Prayed for you only
My love

Why should I keep loving you
When I know that you're not true
And why should I call your name
When you're to blame
For making me blue

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! That's just it, my batteries will only hold around a 15% charge at most, with most of the time being 10% or less. This remains the same--regardless of how much sleep I may get or what I eat.
