Back during our childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and
this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

Dee's One foot out of the box is one of my regular stops. I love seeing her back road wandering shots and she does the most creative doodles.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Just think what she could accomplish with both feet out!
DeleteLove the image on the Harn Gallery. It reminds me of a Turner painting. Turner is one of my favorite artists.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! I am not familiar with Turner, but if he(?) paints like that, I would be a big fan, too.
DeleteI still enjoy Sunday drives!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Halcyon!!! Yes, and yours take you all over! By the way, I just added your wonderful site to the list for future inclusion in our Sites To See series, which comes before being included in this series. Be assured that I will let you know when it happens, which will be awhile because of how many were already on the list.
DeleteWell, this is embarrassing, my dear Halcyon. For I did not realize that you already knew most of that until after I had hit the publish button. Well, except for the part about your Halcyon Travels being now on the list. Sigh.
DeleteJerry,
ReplyDeleteI so appreciate you putting our link up, it was wonderful to see. I have been so busy moving into our new home, but settling in now and feeling very grateful. How nice that you used to take Sunday drives with your family. I think it's one of my favorite things to do. I smiled when you mentioned "A Sunday Drive" for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites. That means so much to me, and I truly appreciate your effort in letting people know about our blog. Thank you so much, my friend.

ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Dee!!! Are you intrigued by the speculation on Jim Harbaugh taking over the reigns of your Woverines' football team next year?
