Back during our childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and
this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

Thanks for the link, Jerry. You might also want to check out Florida Fotos (http://floridafotos.blogspot.com).
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Lowell!!! Florida Fotos is already on the list, and it looks like it will be included around six weeks from now (if our Heavenly Father does not have other plans, of course).
DeleteThanks! THANKS! Thank you so much for includin' Nerissa's Life in the Sunday Drive.
ReplyDeleteA Sunday drive... What a GREAT way to while away the afternoon.
Purrs,
Nissy
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Nissy!!! Be assured that your enthusiasm is greatly appreciated.
DeleteI'm ready for the drive but we need to stop for coffee. I didn't get any this morning.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to your comment about Duke. I appreciate your kind words. I am quite convinced that all dogs do go to heaven and I'm quite sure there is someone there to cook them bacon on a regular basis :)
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Wow, you are most certainly taking your loss very well. Yeah, I can see Duke having his belly too full of bacon to bark by now. I hope you are making plans to go get a Duchess soon. For your great love should not go to waste.
DeleteI like the drive past the quilt lady today. I just wrote (this past week) about returning to my quilting days....albeit painfully. Quilting is not easy when you are older, let me tell ya. Sheesh. It gets harder to thread the needle now!
ReplyDeleteOur drive has been hampered by the loss of our dog friend, Duke. It's just not the same without him sticking his head out the window to catch the breeze in his ears. :( Although I don't miss the dog drool hitting me as I shared the backseat with him.
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lin!!! Since I can no longer see to thread a needle (NOT EVEN WITH ONE OF NEEDLE-THREADING THINGIES!) I now do all of my sewing with a stapler, which I don't think would work with quilting. Oh, and since most of the drool always came from Ann...
DeleteSince i love travel so much I just had to check out My Euro Travel and Adventure. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! I hope you find many literary trips to go on.
DeleteI remember the Sunday drives from my childhood in the 70s (but we skipped the church part). Elder people used to park by the road, to sit in their camping chairs drinking coffee and watch the traffic >:)
ReplyDeleteCold As Heaven
Thanks for stopping by, my dear CA!!! Most of ours came during the late 60s and early 70s, but I do not remember seeing any crowds gathered. Alas, I suppose we just weren't so interesting. (LOL?)
DeleteBy the way, your wonderful site is now on the list to be included in a Sites To See when its turn comes up. Being included in this series in the next step for those still active when the time comes. Be assured that I will let you know when Cold As Heaven is included in the Sites To See.
Hi Jerry, Thanks a lot for including http://myeurotravelandadventures.blogspot.com in your Sunbday drive..truly appreciate it. Sorry for the very late reply. Just saw your comment. Life has been so busy for me now. Keep up the good word! Cheers!
