This weekly series will feature ads that I consider to
be the very best (in one way or another).
Please do not hesitate to tell me about your favorite ads, and if you
have some (good) taste, I just might add yours to the list.
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Shadow!!! Yes, Arlynda and I were awestruck when we first saw it during a Super Bowl broadcast (I think) a few years back. Adding all the more to just how special this ad was meant to be, it was only shown on national TV the one time.
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Grace!!! I strongly beg to differ about the quality of their beer, as would millions upon millions of others around the world, I am sure.
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! I think there has been only one of their big-production commercials that I did not appreciate as much as I probably should have. It was the one with the old west saloon scene that aired during the Super Bowl two years ago (I think).
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Penwasser!!! According to the UMM (Union of Manly Men) bylaws, weeping is acceptable as long as it is accompanied with a big snot blow (so that the moment of weakness can be blamed upon a virus or something).
Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
This is one seriously regal classy ad...

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Adullamite!!! The key is what is missing from that lower Manhattan skyline.
DeleteI haven't had a Bud in years. Often we'd sip on a couple of cold ones! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Me, too. What is wrong with us?
DeleteBudweiser is lousy beer but they make the best commercials.

DeleteDarn you for making me all misty-eyed. I'm a sucker for this sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! Me, too.
DeleteI've said it before and I'll say it again, Budweiser makes the best commercials

DeleteThat one makes me a little weepy.
ReplyDeleteIn a guy's way, of course.

DeleteWe're getting old, I guess! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Well, just as long as we are being aged to perfection, I suppose that is okay.
