Sites To See

The SOLE purpose of this weekly series is to call attention to sites that I think many would find most interesting—in one way or another.  Just to be clear, inclusion in this series is not necessarily meant as a recommendation, and I have included sites that are rather disturbing to me.  The link below each image is to the site itself, and each image is linked to the particular post from which it was taken when applicable.  Please, go see for yourself.

  3. I put "Shades of the Departed" in my reader - I love old photos and I have way too many photo blogs in my reader!

Also, I woke this with that Mike and the Mechanics song in my head - took a whole 24 hours to make itself at home! Need to change the channel!

  4. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Roschelle!!! Ah, but you haven't seen nothing yet. For Sue (a.k.a. Susan and Ettarose) is working on a template that should blow everyone's mind. Of course, The Tribulation Times Herald-Exhorter would be nothing without great content, and what you just posted is AWESOME!

Oh yeah, I just replied to your reply in the comments. I sure hope many will offer their take.

  5. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Chicken's Consigliere!!! Does he pay more than chicken feed for your services? (I'm sorry. I couldn't resist.)

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Grace!!! "Shades of the Departed" truly is an outstanding site--isn't it?

I am sorry about "The Living Years" getting stuck in your head, but it is such a beautiful song. What still freaks me out is a song popping into my head that I have not listened to (by conventional means) in a while.

  9. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Jill!!! Oh, but it is you, who has a wonderful site!

Umm, would you please try to not compliment Ryan so much? Yeah, he is a great guy and all, but he loves soccer.

  10. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Bill!!! We're officially snow-free (I think) up here in Springfield, MO. Have you gotten rid of all of yours down there yet? You-all got a lot more than we did both of the last rounds.

  14. I don't know how you manage to keep coming up with so many great new sites to feature but I sure do enjoy it.

  15. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Annette!!! Hey, my wife and I also live in Springfield, and I used to also drive a big truck. I sure hope I didn't try to push you out of the way at AWG.

  16. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ryan!!! With all due respect, it is still a boring (oh, oh so boring) game. Why else do you think a fight so often breaks out in the stands? Of course, that is usually entertaining (in sick and twisted sort of way). So, I suppose it does deserve a spot on the telly.

In all fairness, however, I can see where it is probably not your fault. For you are a born and bred Scot, and if we were to trade lives, you would probably be castigating me. (LOL?) (Please?)

  17. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Painting Queen!!! I would like you to know that I have also painted a toilet seat. Of course, my technique was not quite as refined as yours. For it was back during my hard-drinking days, and I used a 4" brush to paint it yellow in order to hide the stains. (TMI?)

  18. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! I was thinking of you and Duke when including The Painting Queen, and there are several others this week that I think you two will really enjoy visiting.

  19. I'm so sorry to be late posting here. I came here the other day and tried, but my computer has been acting absolutely crazy since Wednesday.

Hopefully, it's fixed now. I do thank you for the feature! You actually used the picture from one of my favorite "moments".

Double pleasure for me during this very frustrating week.

I am sorry that you are having computer problems. Those are never special moments for me.
