Come Monday...Boy Howdy!

“Come Monday…” is a weekly series that will involve a review of, or commentary about, websites, movies, documentaries, television shows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time. Be assured that these reviews will be generally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “Come Monday.” This is subject to change, however. In fact, I would be most derelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while. For rants promote change, and change can be good—right? Therefore, since good is generally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the parallel universes that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as being something positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).

Well, I have been wanting to get on with my pieces about my favorite science fiction television shows for around a month now, but something keeps coming up. Yeah, it has happened again.

Okay, not really. For my wife and I have been all-a-twitter over my son coming to live with us tomorrow, and this is something to go all-a-twitter over. For she has never met him, and I haven’t seen him since he was around four and a half years old.

On the other hand, our household is almost always all-a-twitter over something. So, that is really not a very good excuse.

I really don’t think you-all will mind too much, however. For while watching episodes of [Babylon 5] that I taped back in 2000, a commercial for [TiVo] came on, which stars [Joe Montana] and [Ronnie Lott] of the [San Francisco 49ers] glory days.

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Theresa!!! Yeah, it really is too funny--especially since Ronnie Lott has the reputation of being one of the toughest to every play REAL football.

  7. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! It really gets you going--doesn't it? As in regards to my son, he should be boarding his flight in Seattle in around four and a half hours, and Arlynda will be cutting my hair off any minute now. For it has gotten down on my shoulder blades this round, and she thinks it looks awful. Oh yeah, she says that the beard has to go, too. For it is around eight inches long, and I am sorely dreading having to go around with no cover to hide behind.

  8. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Lin!!! Calvin turned 21 last December, and yes, it should be interesting--to say the least. I'm not sure just how much will be made public, however. For I am to be an open book as much as possible, but he is a different story.
