The SOLE purpose of this series is to help call
attention to sites that I think many would find most interesting—in one way or
another. Just to be clear, inclusion in
this series is not necessarily meant as an endorsement, and I have included
sites that I found rather disturbing.
The link below each image is to the site itself, and each image is
linked to the particular post from which it was taken when applicable. Please, go see for yourself. Oh, and as of August 10, 2012, I will be no
longer including sites that have auto-play and word verification engaged.

Oh great, I've now added another blog to my already loooooooooong list of blogs! But how could I resist, Halcyon Travels. Travel, photos, so up to my desires. Say, by the way on the topic of blogs, have you been to The Mag lately? Tess and her Magpie tales is one of my most enjoyable blogs! AND! In my post today, I have 2 of my NCIS NOLA set photos from my little girl! Check it out. Just be warned, any star was surely on a toilet break when she shot them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Halcyon is an incredible photographer, and I greatly appreciate the very honorable mention you gave me in the comment you left. No, I have not seen anything of The Mag lately. That is, other than your contributions, of course. For I still just don't have the energy to participate. I will suck it up enough to make it over to see what your lovely daughter has been up to in The Big Easy, though.
DeleteInteresting traditional art at Grand Central Atelier. Reminds me of my student days.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! Yeah, I thought the site might really catch your attention. I find the light reflection on her forehead a fascinating touch.
DeleteI can't resist visiting a blog that shows pictures of dogs
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Well, you and Gibbs have lots to see this round.
Deletei read halcyon's other blog, berlin365. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear TWG!!! One cannot go wrong with either one.
DeleteNice selection with some yum food, healthy vegies , great art and photos and other stuff. The blogging world is endless
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Marja!!! Yes, and you certainly do a fine job of contributing to it.
DeleteWhat a fun selection of blogs to visit! Thanks for including mine on the list. With winter upon us, I'll be inside and on the computer more often to check out more blogs!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Kit!!! I hope this helps you find some that you will enjoy.
DeleteYou are missing a lot of good sites that have spam word verification enabled. For me, it is absolutely critical to keep from having to examine tons of spam comments.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Dave!!! Back before my eyesight became so poor, I considered word-verification as being like a game to be won, but now, it is just a great irritation. Yeah, one can use the audio aid, but that sounds too garbled to understand much of the time for me.
DeleteNonetheless, it all comes down to how welcoming someone wants to be, and my set-backs have made me acutely aware of how unwelcoming word-verification can be to those with vision and hearing problems. So, I do not want to promote a site that is not concerned with how difficult they are making it for as many as possible to leave comments.
In regards to having to examine tons of spam comments, Blogger sends me an email notification of every comment, and most of the spam ones are automatically marked as such, with me having the option to change that when a mistake has been made. Speaking of such, a "good Christian" marked me as a spammer for daring to ask some questions in comments on his site years ago, and it took several years before WordPress' Akismet monstrosity finally stopped dumping all of my comments on all WordPress sites in the spam bin. Since you are now on WordPress, I wonder how many legitimate comments you have left to languish in the spam bin because of your unwillingness to care?
