The SOLE purpose of this series is to help call
attention to sites that I think many would find most interesting—in one way or
another. Just to be clear, inclusion in
this series is not necessarily meant as an endorsement, and I have included
sites that I found rather disturbing.
The link below each image is to the site itself, and each image is
linked to the particular post from which it was taken when applicable. Please, go see for yourself. Oh, and as of August 10, 2012, I will be no
longer including sites that have auto-play and word verification engaged.

Hallo Jerry, I apologise for my absence. I've let life tie me in a knot, and when the choice between writing or reading had to be made, I chose writing. It helps me to clear my head as well...
ReplyDeleteSo, now I have a list of recommendations to follow, 'til next time, my friend!
Thanks for stopping by, my dear Shadow!!! The darkness you seem to constantly dwell in makes for some powerful literary works. However, the effect it is having on you concerns me greatly, and it makes me feel better about you when you come by and leave an uplifting comment. Of course, when my subject matter sucks...
DeleteNope, your subject matter brings me back time and again, be assured of that. And the darkness is difficult to explain, and like you, my hubby doesn't understand it either. I can 'dwell' in the dark of the things that tint my thinking, and write about it, but that doesn't make me dark or unhappy or in anyway sad. Once it's written it's out, and on some of the darkest things I've written have happened on days when I'm extremely happy and light in my soul... don't know how that works, but it does. Thanks for your concern, I appreciate it, but I am generally a very easy going, happy and energetic person...
DeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Shadow!!! Thank you for explaining. Be assured that I understand. For I am also allowed and enabled to visit some very dark places without it leaving permanent scars. In fact, I was told to not worry about you in regards to that, but "I" got in the way again.

DeleteOur Heavenly Father talks to me to a lot, my dear Shadow, but since it is often in the form of what could be considered as merely my own thoughts, it is often easy for me to think that what I am "hearing" is not from Him. Yeah, I may very well be a certifiable nut-case.
DeleteFun stuff, as always you present the best photo to pull us right inside their blog! Yogi's Den is one of my favorites, that I follow already, and I've been telling myself must do Scavenger Hunt Sunday again...and Sepia Saturday....so many blogs so little time, far too often!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! I am sorry that I have not been as loyal towards you as you have been towards me.
DeleteTell Me a Story is a fun blog and I enjoyed prowling around there and reading some interesting stories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! Hmm, I thought you would enjoy Woodgate's View the most, with you being a self-described political junkie and all.
DeleteNice. You always have some of the best sites to share.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lady Lilith!!! Be assured that your visits always brighten my days.
Deletea whole list of new sites I've never seen. How am I to find time for frying bacon
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! A good guard puppy knows how to enforce priorities, and I have it on good authority that Gibbs is one of the best.
