Nagging Wife

This weekly series will feature ads that I consider to be the very best (in one way or another).  Please do not hesitate to tell me about your favorite ads, and if you have some (good) taste, I just might add yours to the list.

  1. I'm rendered speechless by how much advertising has changed.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Shadow!!! Yes, it is often said that it was a much simpler time back then, which I do not necessarily agree with, but this commercial sure drives their point home. Hey, maybe we were just much more simple-minded? For I generally find television commercials much more entertaining these days, but Arlynda keeps insisting that I am just not right in the head. Sigh.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lady Lilith!!! I'm not sure if it will be included in this series or not, but I really like the new(er) one with the repairman always running like their refrigerators do.

  4. The idea of a lonely underused Maytag repairman was good in its day but I sure got tired of these.

  5. I remember the Maytag repairman commercials. From your post title I thought this was going to be a complaint post about Arlynda. Good thing it wasn't because no one would have believed that she was a nagging wife

  6. Maytag is still cool to me. My dad's uncle owned a Maytag store and this sure brings back memories! Very cool.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
