Saturday Morning Cartoons (+)

No, it is not that I am in the midst of experiencing a second or third childhood.  For it is arguable that I have never really grown up because of my march toward maturity being interrupted along the way by some episodes of arrested development.  So, instead of thinking that this series is meant as a wistful look back upon a simpler time, think of it as being a rather simplistic mind remaining in a moment for an extended period of time.  In any event, I hope you find it enjoyable.

  2. Oh my word, how absurd. But that's the point of a cartoon, right?

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Shadow!!! Absurd is putting it mildly, but my wife keeps insisting that I am getting older and crankier by the second.

  3. I prefer the vintage, well-drawn cartoons of the past.

  4. There's something quite sinister about those creatures...particularly the rump roast!

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Yes, and I wonder if it is by design that the meat is hauled off to be ate while the fruits seem to have no fear of such... Okay, it is just a stupid cartoon, and I would do well not to think too much about it--right?
