Does He Love You?
Reba McEntire &
Kelly Clarkson
I've known about
you for a while now
When he leaves me he
wears a smile now
As soon as he's
away from me
In your arms is
where he wants to be
But you're the one
he rushes home to
You're the one he
gave his name to
I'll never see his
face in the early morning light
You have his mornings
His daytimes
And sometimes
I have his nights
But does he love
you
Does he love you
Like he loves me
Like he loves me
Does he think of
you
Does he think of
you
When he's holding
me
And does he whisper
Does he whisper
All his fantasies
Does he love you
Does he love you
Like he's been
loving me
But when he's with
me
He says he needs me
And that he wants
me
That he believes in
me
And when I'm in his
arms
Oh he swears
there's no one else
Is he deceiving me
Or am I deceiving
myself
Am I deceiving
myself
But does he love
you
Does he love you
Like he loves me
Like he loves me
Does he think of
you
Does he think of
you
When he's holding
me
And does he whisper
Does he whisper
All his fantasies
Does he love you
Does he love you
Like he's been
loving me
Oh shouldn't I lose
my temper
Oh and shouldn't I
be ashamed
‘Cause I have
everything to lose
And I
I have nothing to
gain
But does he love
you
Does he love you
Like he loves me
Like he loves me
Does he think of
you
Does he think of
you
When he's holding
me
And does he whisper
Does he whisper
All his fantasies
Does he love you
Does he love you
Like he's been
loving me
Oh does he love you

ReplyDeleteThere's music freely available on YouTube you know........
ReplyDeleteReba sure kicked that girl's ass - performance wise. Did you hear that child sucking in air? Reba never did - she knows how to sing. Someone needs to teach these young uns proper vocal technique.
ReplyDeleteI did like the song tho -
I've always like Reba
ReplyDeleteDid you know she is dating Reba's son?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Mom!!! It is indeed a classic country song.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Adullamite!!! I seem to recall you leaving that comment before. Therefore, it would be appropriate (according to Honey Boo Boo Child's Mama's Book of Etiquette) to leave the same reply that I seem to recall leaving before, which is, "Yeah, like you would know!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Grace!!! I am rather surprised that you favored Reba over Kelly. For Reba has a twang and a half to her voice. Although, I noticed what you are pointing out after I went back to listen to it again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! So have I, but some of her songs are really hard to take while going through serious relationship troubles, such as Cathy's Clown--despite it actually being an Everly Brother's song (I wasn't having any trouble with the ladies back in the early 60s).
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Sandie!!! No, I didn't, and I sure feel for the boy. For Reba has been her idol for forever and a day. So, he won't have a hope of ever getting away with a thing against such a united front.
