Back during my childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is
why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

Thank you for including How Sweet The Sound. My family used to take Sunday drives, too. In fact, it is something my husband and I continued for many years. Now, we are all more conscious of being energy efficient - and that is a good thing.
We do indulge ourselves in an occasional pleasure drive, and it is still a great joy.
Thanks for including Meridian Road in your Sunday Drive! It looks like we're in good company.
Looks like a nice list. Ginny from Let your light shine hasn't posted in a while. She's had some health issues and hasn't been up to blogging
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Beverly!!! Yeah, those Sunday drives were a lot more fun when they could be made for less than a dollar a gallon. My wife and I have tried to make sled dogs out of our Yorkie and Pom, but they ain't cooperating.
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Suzanne!!! Having your site around most definitely elevates others.
Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! I sure hope she get to feeling better soon. Maybe you could send Duke over to give her a big sloppy kiss?
I like that hen on Farrell's Travel BLog!
thanks for including Eagles Wings....love the idea of a Sunday Drive...unique!
Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Sandie!!! I hope his hens don't make fun of him on account of that!
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Dani!!! Yes, quite a few of our Heavenly Father's suggestions have worked out fairly well. (LOL?)
Go raibh maith agat! :¬)
Somebody, wipe that kid's face! ;)
I'm pooped. Drive slow so I can nap in the backseat, okay?
Jerry,
Thank you so much for including my blog. And thanks for stopping by and for your kind comment.
I've been reading several of your posts, enjoying your journal especially.
Blessings.
Doris
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Mapstew!!! The first time I remember ever hearing someone speak with an Irish Gaelic accent was coming from an older lady in a shop on the south-side of Winnipeg, Manitoba up in Canada. By the way, she was very kind in her response when I asked her if it was a German accent.
Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Lin!!! Have you and Ann been stealing sips from each other's drinks again? For you seem to be coming down with the same thing as she has been suffering from.
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Doris!!! Be assured that I hope we have someone like you trying to take care of us when my wife and I go completely downhill.
