A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  5. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear SG!!! Drinking from a crystal skull would be more like a commitment than just a fad--wouldn't it?

  6. I visit some of these sites daily. I love Kimmy to pieces and Maitri, well, Maitri's blog is always full of wonderful little tidbits about her home and animals.

The word chop is used because it is a short word and you can comment fast.

I belong to a club called The First Commenter's Club and if you get the first chop or the first comment then you get linky love for that post.

It's a silly game but reminds me I can still be a kid sometime too.

Thanks for such a wonderful comment. I don't know about writing though. I do not consider myself a writer.

Oh my and I am going to depress everyone so much with that piece today.

I was having a down day. It happens some times. But, put that down day together with a writing contest and those prompt words...you get a sad lament from a grandmother!:-)))

  7. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Jackie!!! Thank you for explaining what all that chopping is all about. It had me scratching my head, and now I've got a sore spot.

As in regards to your down day piece, you merely expressed sentiments that most have felt from time to time. The way you did it was quite extraordinary, however. In fact, it is so extraordinary, it should be quite obvious where you got it from to all who have been given eyes to see. Please, keep letting His Light shine through you.
