Let The Kingdom Come
WhiteHeart
I’m layin’ down my crown
Yes I’m layin’ down my crown
Lord I’m layin’ it down
And prayin’
Let Your will be done
Lord I’m layin’ down my crown
Let the Kingdom come
‘Cause I’m so tired and weary
Yes I’m so tired and weary
Lord I’m weary and hurtin’
From the back-breakin’ burden
Of my crown
My soul is bone-weary
Oh let the Kingdom come
Well I crowned myself king
Yeah I crowned myself king
But I didn’t see the trouble
The heartache and the sorrow
It would bring
Now I’m broken and willin’
And lookin’ for my King
King of Glory
Enter in
And sear my heart
With Love’s burnin’ flame
Oh let Your will be done
Oh Lord
Let the Kingdom come
Oh
I’m layin’ down my crown
Let the Kingdom come
Oh oh
Oh oh
Let the Kingdom come
Oh oh
Oh oh
Let the Kingdom come
Oh oh
Oh oh
Let the Kingdom come
Oh oh
Oh oh
Let the Kingdom come
Oh oh
Oh oh
Let the Kingdome come

Of all the whiteheart songs that I have listened to this is not really my favorite. I like the lyrics but not necessarily crazy about the sound.
ReplyDeleteLove the lyrics too. sandie
ReplyDeleteThese Lyrics really touch my heart. Thanks My Friend. So How's Things in the Middle of America ? any Los Memphistos Yet ? such a joke those phoenix los suns, God Bless Em.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! I am sorry you didn't like this one so much. I really do, however. For there's some down and dirty rockin' blues going on there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Sandie!!! I hope for His Kingdom to come much sooner than later.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear BadGal!!! No, not even a Los Cardinals de la Springfield, neither. In all seriousness, that took some guts for the Suns to do that. Of course, many would think that it had more to do with stupidity than anything else.
