A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and I after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived. Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  1. Duke and I won't be going on the drive this morning, we decided since it's raining we're just going to nap on the couch. Since you left a map of the route we'll go later.

  2. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! Both of you will be dearly missed, but I hope you-all have a good time later. Be assured that I understand all too well about having to be careful out in the rain. For I have melted-down before, and I really hate that re-shaping process.

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Mikeee!!! To be quite honest, I had forgotten all about leaving that comment, and it is impressive that you did not. For far too many would have never bothered to reply, and this displays further proof that our Heavenly Father is at work in and through you.

  9. I will take Ann's place there in the front seat this week. Like the forgotten child, I'm always stuck in the back seat, behind the driver. Today is my day--moving up to the front. Can I play with the radio dial????

  12. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Lin!!! I was afraid of this happening when I saw where Ann and Duke wouldn't be going with us, but I suppose it will be all-right for you to choose the radio station today. Just don't be playing any Partridge Family--okay? The Monkees would be just fine, however.

  15. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Shydub!!! Well, many images are like shiny objects to me. Subsequently, the first one on a site that really catches my attention when I first see it is usually the one that gets picked, and sometimes, they even look like they belong to the site it is representing.
