A Sunday Drive

Back during our childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  6. Hi Jerry-- thanks so much for including me in your Sunday Drive post-- what a fun way to highlight blogs and to visit new places---(and isn't that what we used to do on Sunday drives?? I use to love it when my parents would load up my sisters and I and take us for a drive. We never knew where we would end up!!)

Thanks again--- have a lovely Sunday yourself:)

    1. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Elizabeth!!! I wish I had of taken more time to check things out during the times I was in your fair city while still out on the truck. Alas, the plan usually was to get in and out before getting captured. (LOL?)

  8. Ooooh, I love a Spring drive. We can crack the windows a bit and enjoy the warm sunshine on our faces--well...if we hang our heads out the window. Hate it when my ears flap, though.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lin!!! Hey, I have discovered that we are practically neighbors. Well, at least a lot closer than I thought! For according to my Feedjit widget, I am now in Sugar Grove, IL instead of Springfield, MO, and since Sugar Grove is just to the west of Aurora, that would make us being only around 20 miles apart instead of 250!
