The SOLE purpose of this weekly series is
to help call attention to sites that I think many would find most
interesting—in one way or another. Just
to be clear, inclusion in this series is not necessarily meant as a
recommendation, and I have included sites that are rather disturbing to
me. The link below each image is to the
site itself, and each image is linked to the particular post from which it was
taken when applicable. Please, go see
for yourself. Oh, and as of August 10,
2012, I will be no longer including sites that have auto-play and word
verification engaged.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! I saw it first!
ReplyDeleteJerry... thank you, its quite kind of you to include my blog and much appreciated
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Daryl!!! If you would like to find out just how slow I can be to catch on at times, while I was still trucking from sea to shining sea, I was given a load of boxed beef that had three drops in Manhattan. I called the place of the first drop, and I was told to take the Broadway exit off of I-95, almost immediately after leaving the GW Bridge toll plaza and to keep heading south until I reached where Broadway split with 10th Avenue, which would take me down to 3rd Street (I think). Anyway, I was so focused upon watching for the 10th Avenue split, it was not until I entered Times Square before I realized that I had been traveling down BROADWAY! Sigh.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, I have just added your wonderful Writing Against the Wind site to the list for future inclusion in this series. Be assured that I will let you know when it is actually included, which will probably be in 4-5 months because of how many were already on the list.
That's a mean-looking kitty painted on that garage door.
ReplyDeleteNice list of sites. I will be checking some out.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jerry...it looks like we've got a wet weekend ahead...and it looks like I'll be doing a lot of reading! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! My mother-in-law, who lives with us, trains attack-cats. So, I see that face quite often. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lady Lilith!!! Your pic of the severed Barbie heads made quite an impression last Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Our weather is going nuts right now. For they have issued a frost warning for the next two mornings while looking for a high of around 85F on Saturday. At least we missed out on the big tornado outbreak, but the Joplin area (60 miles to the west) was hit again.
ReplyDeleteHello Jerry, thank you for stopping by my blog and for sharing my site here. I used to post daily but after 5 years (I'm in my 6th year here) I've gotten very busy with education and life and don't post nearly as much as I once did. I love blogger, the people I have met here are amazing and some I've had the opportunity to meet in person which was amazing... it was like we already knew each other from sharing through the blogs.
ReplyDeleteHave yourself a wonderful day. Cheers!
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Darlin!!! Be assured that I can certainly relate to becoming swamped at times.
