Back during my childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is
why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Becky!!! We reached the 80s for the first time this year a couple of days ago, and they are now calling for a high of only around 28 for this coming Tuesday (I think). Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThanks for thinking of Hickery Holler
ReplyDeleteHanging on my word is the best ever! She's a pal! Nice ride today again, and some new folks and some known folks. If only the kids would quit rolling windows up and down and down and up again and agAIN!! Hehehehe!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the mention and for leaving a comment on my blog!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear CQ!!!!!! You must be really talented. For I cannot imagine how one could can a quilt.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Alas, the last time I tried to keep someone for rolling the window up and down, we crashed into a light pole. So, I ain't doing that again! Sorry.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Jana!!! Your family really does have some very interesting history to it.
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry. I saw your blog on Jana's. What a great title! I'm excited to read through it some more! It looks quite helpful.
ReplyDeleteHaHa! Thanks so much for including my book, Jerry. Love your Sunday Drive idea :-}
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen B.!!! Alas, when I went to add your wonderful "Getting to Know You" site to the list for future inclusion in the Sites To See series, which comes before being included in this series, I discovered that you have the hated word verification spam protection thingy employed. So, I will not be able to include it.
ReplyDeleteYou might be surprised about how many more comments may be left (and additional friends made) if you disengage word verification. For back before my eyesight started going downhill, I looked upon word verification as a challenge when I was not in a big hurry to leave a comment, but it has become a nightmare to mess with now, which I have found to be the case with a great many in the blogosphere. As an alternative to combating spam, I have went with manual moderation of comments, which allows anyone to leave a comment, but only the ones I let through are actually published.
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Gwen!!! I hope your book has proven to be quite successful.
ReplyDeleteI'm familiar with several of these blogs and know I'm in good company. Thanks for including me, Jerry. Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for stopping by, my dear Julie!!! Alas, Arlynda keeps insisting that I am not nearly as sharp as I want to believe I am, and after not realizing that you had changed the title to your more personal site until its turn to be included in this series came around, she just might have a point.
