Come Monday...Poor Parents Rejoice

“Come Monday…” is a weekly series that will involve a review of (or commentary about) websites, movies, documentaries, television shows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time.  Be assured that these reviews will be generally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “Come Monday.”  This is subject to change, however.  In fact, I would be most derelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while.  For rants promote change, and change can be good—right?  Therefore, since good is generally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the parallel universes that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as being something positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).

After watching the first 37.4 seconds (yes, I actually timed it) of the first episode of [Chrisley Knows Best], I started wondering why the USA Network would pay good money to air such a program.  Hey, I know that the network executives are scrambling to come up with the next [Honey Boo Boo], but Chrisley takes ridiculousness way past the point of no return from good sense (or cents, lots of them, I’m sure).

It then hit me squarely between the eyes that there is a moral to the show.  For it has everything that can go wrong with lavishing riches upon immature children under one roof, and it is for this reason that poor parents should rejoice.

It has to be seen to be believed.  Well, it may take more than that.

  1. I tend to stay away from new stuff on tv. It all pretty much is garbage in my opinion

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! When it comes to Chrisley and his bunch, you will most definitely not be missing anything of any great significance. That is, unless you get a kick out of watching a grown man swish his way around the house, of course.
