Tiffany did a good job with this song but I have to say Tommy James wins this one.
Geesh...if you research hard enough, you'll find that almost everything is a remake. I'm with Ann. I like Tommy James better too :)
The original was one of my favorites. I listened to the radio for 2 years in college. Haven't been back much since.

Tommy James is simply the best. But I agree with Ann, Tiffany did a good job with this song. But nothing can beat Tommy's crickets and voice and the arrangements! Dale

I have to say they're both good but I prefer the Tiffany version because it sends a different vibe coming from a young woman. Just my opinion.

For they were HUGE in the 60's, and I am fairly sure that you are very familiar with Joan Jett's remake of his "Crimson & Clover," which is just one of a number of truly awesome songs that they recorded. As I told the lovely and talented Ms. Ann, their "Draggin' The Line" is one of my all-time favorites, and "Chrystal Blue Persuasion" is another tune that I think you might appreciate. By the way, if you go to find "Draggin' The Line," try to listen to a copy off of the album so that you can get the full echo effect.
