I would think that it would be needlessly to say, but considering the level of sophistication of many of my readers, it would probably be better to just go ahead and spell it out. Therefore, please be advised that this is one of a number of special edition Sites To See, and all included in it may have something that just might fit quite nicely under your Christmas tree (or stuffed in stocking) a few very short months from now. As in the regular Sites To See, the link provided below is to the main site, and the images are linked to their particular page, when applicable. The images serve as an example of what they have to offer, and they are not meant as a recommendation. Although, they do represent something that I liked, but since my wife does not like me all that much most of the time (no, I have no idea why, neither), I do not expect to see any of them with my name on it. Hopefully, it is better in your family, and I am quite sure that the artisans here would greatly appreciate your business. Besides, spending your money on things that are made and marketed by people not so unlike yourself strikes a blow against corporate greed and all of that other stuff, which is supposed to be a good thing—right?

I love scrolling through your links (you always find the coolest stuff from all over the place :o) Imagine my surprise when I came across the Pegasus earrings and a link to us - Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteP.S. So does this mean we're happenin' now? Are we officially cool? Just checking...
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Jen!!! As in regards to being cool, I am probably the wrong one to ask. For I was once told by a fine-lookin' young filly in a honky-tonk that I couldn't be cool--even left in a meat locker overnight!
ReplyDeleteYou have really placed some treasures on here for us to link to.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
andrea
Great idea FishHawk, although please don't talk to me about Christmas pressies in July. I still have lots of birthdays to deal with first, so these sites may come in handy for that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Andrea!!! This is just the first of nine of these that are scheduled to be posted this month. So, please come back early and often.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Ryan!!! As I told the lovely and talented Ms. Andrea, this is just the first of nine of these special editions. So, you should have quite a selection to choose from.
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed like Christmas in July - for me. No, it is much better: it is a wonderful Birthday gift for me, because my (old) B'day is coming up in 3 days.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for the link, Jerry! You really made my day, very kind of you. You're so kind!
What a nice surprise!! Thanks for including my work, Jerry and for doing this service to us folks who offer handmade with love as an alternative to big box shopping! And you really do find an impressive variety to include in your lists! Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for thinking of me & including me in your lovely gift ideas for Christmas! Your post has motivated me to start thinking about Christmas giving. I'm usually wide-eyed frantic near panic down the isles at the last minute!
ReplyDeleteMany Blessings
Great Sites to See (as always) for some early Christmas shopping! Though, some people actually start shopping for the next Christmas the day after Christmas...lol.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so consider, my dear Karen!!! You really do have a lot of wonderfully crafted items that would make treasured gifts.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Susanne!!! Your old birthday? Would this have something to do with being plumb serious about not having anymore in order to avoid getting older?
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Campbell Jane!!! The idea for something like this did not cross my mind until it was really too late last year. For with postal and parcel services already being strained, the first of December is no time to be trying to get something ordered and shipped. Hopefully, posting these in July will start the ball rolling early, and a thought about including reminders in the regular Sites To See and A Sunday Drive posts to come before Christmas just crossed my mind. Yeah, I get a lot of help, and I need every bit of it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Theresa!!! Be assured that your wonderful site will be included in one of these. In fact, it might not be a waste of your time to stop by again this coming Sunday (insert "HINT" here).
ReplyDeleteFishHawk, you are the best...thank you again for including my earrings in your 'Thinking of Christmas in July'...hey, I'll let you know if they sell!!...in the meantime...Happy 4th..have a safe weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, a couple of the pallies are in that list!! Good idea to list artisans, Fish. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some of my favorite bloggers listed here. I agree that buying gifts from these very talented people is much better than going with the big name chains. This year and I'm going with all handmade. (or close to it)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Epic Farms did jewelry. I own a few of Karen's (WillOaks Studio) pieces - just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Amy!!! I hope you sell out of several items before it is all over for this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Lin!!! Stay tuned--there's lots more to come!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! As talented as you are, you should consider opening a shop of your own, and with Duke as a business manager, it would surely be a HUGE success!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Grace!!! I don't remember seeing it last year. So, it might be a new item that Jen has added to her wonderful selection. Speaking of having a wonderful selection, Karen has lots of shiny objects that almost make me start questioning my manhood.
