ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Bob!!! Hey, I noticed in your profile that you are from Saskatoon, SK. I can't remember exactly what year it was, around 1990, I think, but I made a delivery to your fair city while I was still truckin' around and around in circles. From there they deadheaded me to Winnipeg, MB to pick-up something, and I delivered whatever that was to Kitchener, ON. From there they deadheaded me down to Buffalo, NY.
ReplyDeleteThe trip was so memorable to me because it was the first time I had done more than just deliver a load somewhere in southern Canada and then headed right back down south across the border empty (deadheading). Yeah, as a matter of fact, I was kinda scared that they wouldn't let me back into the states since I was not the model of perfection that I now am back then.
