To say that I am technically-challenged is an understatement. For when it comes to driving traffic to a blog, I only know how to turn on the car and head for a gas station if a red light starts blinking.
Suffice to say, I have no idea how [Big Daddy Richard’s] link thingy is supposed to work, but since I found the name of my blog already on the list, I figured I should be a good sport and play along. So, I stole the following off of the lovely [Ms. Drew’s] site, which is where I first saw it.

Hi - I think this would be a fun thing to participate in, however, I am not going to be useing EC anymore - After 4/7 - Today.com, my hosting company, will no longer be paying for traffic through the EC network due to EC starting to run third party pay ads, which is not permitted on Today.com. With a list that would go to 400, it would be a loooonnnnggggg blog roll.
ReplyDeleteI think this kind of thing will actually hurt your page rank. I believe the quantity and quality of links on your blog affects your own PR.
ReplyDeleteFYI here is back up to my previous comment:

I understand why you would want to go ahead and withdraw from Entrecard if you want to stay with Today.com, my dear Mike. For I can see where you could get screwed out some revenue from vists that did not come through Entrecard, but please do not be deceived about it being against Today.com's policy to allow third-party advertising. For it is already there in the form of Google Adsense.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, my dear Brad!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great link which is very useful for me.Keep it up.
