A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and I after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived. Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.

  1. Thanks for stopping by on your Sunday drive.
How do you like our new Yankee Stadium?

  2. From what I've seen of what it, my dear Crotchety, it looks absolutely spectacular. Of course, it is no new Cowboys Stadium, and I have no doubt that the new Cardinals Stadium has its advantages, especially in regards to it being in St. Louis and not New York, but it sure is something for your neck of the woods. Thanks for coming by again!!!

  3. My Sunday Drive turned into my usual hike for a three mile hike around Goose Pond - a little pond that is rich in natural surroundings. A very peaceful spot that not many travel - and I had not until I discovered it through my geocaching adventures - and it is close to home. God's handiwork in his natural creation.
