Big Daddy Richard's Link Thingy

To say that I am technically-challenged is an understatement. For when it comes to driving traffic to a blog, I only know how to turn on the car and head for a gas station if a red light starts blinking.

Suffice to say, I have no idea how [Big Daddy Richard’s] link thingy is supposed to work, but since I found the name of my blog already on the list, I figured I should be a good sport and play along. So, I stole the following off of the lovely [Ms. Drew’s] site, which is where I first saw it.

Great New Droplist Idea... Join Us

EC Droppers: Copy this list and add yours to the mix, then post it to your blog and we'll create big a list of reciprocating droppers! This will raise our backlinks, page rank and technorati authority as well as making an easy drop list to follow daily.

This great idea was from Big Daddy Richard over at Trader's Hub... he says that when the list gets to be around 400, he'll create a widget for it.

Nice work, Richard!

Start And Copy The List Below
70. One
138. Lisgold
148. Zero
168. Saxon
182. Puzzles

  1. Hi - I think this would be a fun thing to participate in, however, I am not going to be useing EC anymore - After 4/7 - Today.com, my hosting company, will no longer be paying for traffic through the EC network due to EC starting to run third party pay ads, which is not permitted on Today.com. With a list that would go to 400, it would be a loooonnnnggggg blog roll.

  2. I think this kind of thing will actually hurt your page rank. I believe the quantity and quality of links on your blog affects your own PR.

  4. I understand why you would want to go ahead and withdraw from Entrecard if you want to stay with Today.com, my dear Mike. For I can see where you could get screwed out some revenue from vists that did not come through Entrecard, but please do not be deceived about it being against Today.com's policy to allow third-party advertising. For it is already there in the form of Google Adsense.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
