A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  4. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Yes, that is a Mag pic.

Are you still froze-up? Yeah, that was a stupid question. For that doesn't happen until late August in Minnesota!

  5. Thank you so very much for adding my blog, Kitchen Connection, to your list, Jerry. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness.

I hope all is well with you and Arlynda.

Btw...have you ever watched "The Returned"? The second season starts here this week. It's a French thriller. I missed the first season but from what I've been reading it is a very good series. So I'm going to watch it to see what I think of it, even though I missed the first round.

I'm happy because "Red" is back this Wednesday. "The Blacklist" Season 2 starts! I can't wait! I love that show!

  8. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Lee!!! No, I do not recall ever hearing about The Returned before. I will have to go out and see where I can find it.

We are also tingling with anticipation over the return of The Blacklist. Do we not need lives or what? (LOL?)

  9. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Since I suspect that my right leg weighs more than your entire body, my face scrunches up every time you make a mention of wanting to lose weight. Sorry. Methinks it is some sort of automated response.

  11. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear IG!!! In this series, the images are linked to the Sites To See the site was on before, which is explained in the opening passage. In a Sites To See edition, the images are linked to the particular piece they came from when applicable, and clicking on your image on the March 8, 2013 Sites To See edition will take you to your January 8, 2013 Magpie Tales 150: Townhouse piece.
