No, it is not that I am in the midst of experiencing a
second or third childhood. For it is
arguable that I have never really grown up because of my march toward maturity
being interrupted by some episodes of arrested development along the way. So, instead of thinking that this series is
meant as a wistful look back upon a simpler time, think of it as being a rather
simplistic mind remaining in a moment for an extended period of time. In any event, I hope you find it enjoyable.

Oh joy, Popeye! I've just slip in minutes before noon, for my Saturday morning cartoon! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! I was actually wanting to put up a Scooby Doo for this week, but I failed to find a good one from our era. Be assured that I will keep looking.
ReplyDeleteDear old Popeye and Olive Oyl...they bring back so many fun memories from my childhood. When we were kids, my brother and I would play-act them in our childish games (when we weren't fighting)!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteNever watched a whole lot of Popeye but I do remember it
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Whoa, could you slide down between two Alpine peaks like Olive Oyl did in the cartoon?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! I have actually delivered to Allen Canning in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, who put out Popeye Spinach, but what I had on was loose potatoes out of Monte Vista, Colorado.
