TFT: Foo Fighters

Learn To Fly
Foo Fighters
Run and tell all of the angels
This could take all night
Think I need a devil to help me
Get things right
Hook me up a new revolution
‘Cause this one is a lie
We sat around laughin’
And watched the last one die

Now I'm lookin’ to the sky to save me
Lookin’ for a sign of life
Lookin’ for somethin’ to help me
Burn out bright
Now I'm lookin’ for a complication
Lookin’ ‘cause I'm tired of lyin’
Make my way back home
When I learn to fly

I think I'm done nursin’ the patience
It can wait one night
I'd give it all away
If you give me one last try
We'll live happily
Ever trapped
If you just save my life
Run and tell the angels
That everything’s all-right

Now I'm lookin’ to the sky to save me
Lookin’ for a sign of life
Lookin’ for something to help me
Burn out bright
Now I'm lookin’ for a complication
Lookin’ ‘cause I'm tired of tryin’
Make my way back home
When I learn to fly
Make my way back home
When I learn to

Fly
Along with me
I can't quite make it alone
Try
And make this life my own
Fly
Along with me
I can't quite make it alone
Try
And make this life my own

Now I'm lookin’ to the sky to save me
Lookin’ for a sign of life
Looking for something to help me
Burn out bright
Now I'm lookin’ for a complication
Lookin’ ‘cause I'm tired of tryin’
Make my way back home
When I learn to
Lookin’ to the sky to save me
Lookin’ for a sign of life
Lookin’ for somethin’ to help me
Burn out bright
Now I'm lookin’ for a complication
Lookin’ ‘cause I'm tired of tryin’
Make my way back home
When I learn to fly
Make my way back home
When I learn to fly
Make my way back home
When I learn to
Learn to
Learn to
Learn to

Long Road To Ruin
Foo Fighters
Here now
Don't make a sound
Say have You heard
The news today
One flag was taken down
To raise another in its place
A heavy cross You bear
A stubborn heart
Remains unchanged
No home
No life
No love
No strangers
Singin’ in Your name

Maybe the season
The colors change
In the valley skies
Dear God
I've sealed my fate
Runnin’ through Hell
Heaven can wait

Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-end in sight

Let's say we take this town
No king or queen
Of any state
Get up to shut it down
Open the streets
And raise the gates
I know one wall to scale
I know a field
Without a name
Head on without a care
Before it's way too late

Maybe the season
The colors change
In the valley skies
Oh God
I've sealed my fate
Runnin’ through Hell
Heaven can wait

Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-ends
Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-ends
Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-end in sight

For every piece
To fall in place
Forever gone
Without a trace
Your horizon
Takes its shape
No turnin’ back
Don't turn that page
Come now
I'm leavin’ here tonight
Come now
Let's leave it all behind
Is that the price you pay
Runnin’ through Hell
Heaven can wait

Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-ends
Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-ends
Long road to ruin
There in your eyes
Under the cold streetlights
No tomorrow
No dead-end in sight

  1. They aren't horrible, they aren't all that memorable. They are just kinda "meh"...

  3. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Grace!!! The main guy to the Foo Fighters was a drummer with Nirvana, and I like what he has been doing with the Foo Fighters a lot more than with what Cobain did with Nirvana.

  4. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! The video to "Learn To Fly" is one of the funniest I have ever seen, which is actually a shame. For I think that gets in the way of the message in the lyrics of the song. The same can also be said of the video to "Long Road To Ruin."
