Come Monday...BlogInterviewer.com

“Come Monday…” is a weekly series that will involve a review of, or commentary about, websites, movies, documentaries, television shows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time. Be assured that these reviews will be generally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “Come Monday.” This is subject to change, however. In fact, I would be most derelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while. For rants promote change, and change can be good—right? Therefore, since good is generally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the parallel universes that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as being something positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).

Hello,

Your blog has been recommended to us as a interviewee’s favorite blog!

We would like to do an interview with you about your blog for
www.BlogInterviewer.com. We’d like to give you the opportunity to give us some insight on the “person behind the blog.”

It would just take a few minutes of your time. The interview form can be submitted online at
http://bloginterviewer.com/submit-an-interview

Best regards,

Mike Thomas

I must admit that when I first saw that comment from [BlogInterviewer.com], I was somewhat skeptical. Okay, I was very skeptical. For I do not consider this blog, nor myself, worthy of such consideration. So, I figured that it must be some sort of a spam scam thingy.

It was then brought to my attention that something similar could be thought of the notifications that I send out to those who are included in the weekly Sites To See series here. After all, who can know what is going to happen when they follow the link that I leave until after they actually go to where I am inviting them to, and this may be a major reason why I usually do not hear anything back from less than half of those who are included each week?

Of course, I did go visit their site. For I have the utmost confidence in my [BitDefender] anti-virus program, but I was still skeptical until my Heavenly Father told me that there was nothing to worry about.

So, I went ahead and filled out the interview form, and lo and behold, my Heavenly Father was not kidding. For the interview was posted without any “funny stuff” added. [Here], go see for yourself.

Therefore, if you get a comment like the one above, do not hesitate to fill out one of their interview forms. Hey, if anything, it will make you feel like your efforts have not been completely in vain.

  3. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Mike!!! Be assure that it is I who is very thankful for the kind of faith that I have been given by our Heavenly Father. For it is not blind, nor deaf, and it would be easier for me to deny my own existence than to deny His.

  7. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Jamie!!! I certainly understand your apprehension. For scammers have gotten so good at making their "stuff" look legit, and I am glad to have been of some help.

By the way, thank you also for making me aware of your great site by leaving a comment, and I have added it to the list for a future Sites To See here. This is a weekly series that is posted on Fridays, and I will let you know when it is actually included, which will be a while because of how many were already on the list.

  8. You are most welcome, my dear Jamie!!! It is looking like it will be around 6 months before your turn comes around. Be assured that how often you come around and leave a comment has nothing to do with it, but I would sure enjoy the company.

  9. I don't know if they are scammy/spammy or not but here's my little story about them.

I noticed they left their little message about having someone recommend the site of someone who I came across.

It had a link that -I- as well could follow. So I did. Apparently, even if you are not "recommended" to them you can still fill out an interview.

I did. There seemed to be little harm in it. So far so good. Nothing much has come of it though. But I'm hopeful.

I read through some other people's interviews on the site and left comments so hopefully they will check out my site as there is a direct linkback to my blog when you click on my name in the comments.

Anyway, that was/is my experience. Oh and btw, I found this blog when I typed in bloginterviewer into google and bloginterviewer scam came up. Imagine my relief after finishing this article. Thanks.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
