A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and I after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived. Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  1. Thanks for featuring me on the Sunday drive. There's a couple on the list I'm not familiar with so I'm off to explore :-)

  10. CRud! That is a SHORT ride today!! I'll have to sing extra loud AND fast!! Okay, here goes:

"OH, I'M RIDIN' IN THE CAR! GONNA SIT BEHIND THE WHEEL. AND I'M GONNA TOOT MY HORN---BEEP!BEEP! OH, HAPPY WE WILL FEEL!"

And yes, I realized the caps meant I was shouting. I WAS!!!!! That song is best song loud, Fish.

Thought you might enjoy that one. :)

Thanks for the ride, I gotta go home now.

  14. Considering how we now live, my wife and I would certainly be qualified to join the circus. Yeah, our pups and kitties don't "go" as much as an elephant, but "it" does pile up. Thanks for the offer, and for stopping by again, my dear Queen Katherine!!!
