A Sunday Drive

Back during our childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  1. I still miss those Sunday drives, sometimes I can smell the dust from the dirt roads! But now we often take those Sunday drives on any day of the week, just now we are the parents and grand=parents! Nice blogs you brought to us today, enjoy your weekend.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! I imagine the dirt roads up in Minnesota were like the ones in Kansas, where one could go as fast as on blacktop in most places. Way too many rocks to do that down here in this part of Missouri--be assured!

  4. it would appear that you included a crafty type blog in there so I don't want to hear any complaints about me delving in to my crafty habits. If I do it's all your fault for supplying me with new material.
