No, it is not that I am in the midst of experiencing a
second or third childhood. For it is
arguable that I have never really grown up because of my march toward maturity
being interrupted along the way by some episodes of arrested development. So, instead of thinking that this series is
meant as a wistful look back upon a simpler time, think of it as being a rather
simplistic mind remaining in a moment for an extended period of time. In any event, I hope you find it enjoyable.

I've never seen a Captain America cartoon until now! So there you go!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! We were both absolutely aghast at the ending of the Captain America (First Avenger or something like that) movie. I don't want to spoil it for you if you have not seen it yet, but suffice to say that they left it wide open for a sequel with no sequel to immediately go to. Oh, and if at least the first two Iron Man movies are rated as 10s, I think I am being generous by giving the first Captain America movie a 2.
DeleteHa, ha, please don't grow up, remain a child forever, it's fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Shadow!!! Well, I am getting pretty good at throwing temper-tantrums when I don't get my way. (LOL?)
DeleteThis is a first for me as well. I've seen the movies but not the cartoons.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! I loved Captain America a lot more in comic books than on television back in the day.
DeleteHa! Ha! I didn't know this! Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Yes, a bowl of peeled potatoes really can be used as an effective foil against jerks.
DeleteI think adults is just the definition for over grown children. I am with kids all day so even when I think I am growing up, I am still a child :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lady Lilith!!! I was starting to get quite concerned about exploding as I grew larger and larger, but now that I have lost over a hundred pounds, the danger may have passed.
DeleteMaybe Duke and I will scope out the cartoon network today and see what's on. I owe this inspiration to you
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Well, methinks you both will not be very happy, and I'll get the blame for it--huh?
