Back during my childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and
this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

ReplyDeleteThank you for including me here. I remember going to my grandparents after church every Sunday for donuts. The entire family would gather on the front porch (11 grandkids plus parents) and talk for hours. Most families don't spend 15 minutes together anymore. This was a great way to grow up, and we hope to pass it on to our grandchildren one day.
ReplyDeleteI just love the violin island. Happy Father's Day to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Oh no, rambunctious kitties should never be wound up tighter. They have a tendency to snap, you know. (LOL?)
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Kim!!! Having grandparents around was one of the things I have missed out on during my childhood, and being allowed to be a grandparent to my grandchildren is something I have been denied so far. Ah, but it is good to hear about the wonderful blessings you received while in their company.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! Be assured that it is one of my all-time favorite images.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including me in your lovely Sunday Drive. Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Purplepen!!! It pained me to see where you-all had a school shooting in the Troutdale area. One of the most exciting early moments of my days as a coast-to-coast trucker was finally making it out to the Jubitz Truckstop in Troutdale after seeing the billboards for it over a thousand miles away. My excitement quickly faded after I actually went inside the place, though. (LOL?)
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha! I was thinking similar about RK as Ann was! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Neither one of you two need to be wound-up anymore! (LOL?) Thank you for coming to my aid against Ragdoll Mommy again. Be assured that neither me, nor Arlynda, said anything about her not having a copyright notice in place, nor tried to use that to justify our actions. This should be easy to check since all of the back and forth between us has been made in public through comments.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jerry for including me in. For the records this the second time you had my blog featured. Extremely grateful for that. Best wishes to you for your kind support!
ReplyDeleteHank
