  1. Good thing this wasn't UPS. It would have sent Duke into a barking frenzy. He has no problem with FedEx though

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Adullamite!!! If you are not familiar with ABC's The Big Bang Theory, an added joke to this commercial is that the son in this commercial is Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory, who embodies everything irritatingly weird about serious nerds and would answer a question like that in the same way as he did in the commercial (without any recognition of what it is implying) in the show.

  3. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Do you think the UPS delivery person in your area could be teasing Duke with the smell of bacon?

  4. Now that I see it again I remember this commercial, but I wouldn't have recognized Jim Parsons of course.

  5. I don't watch this show...I've never gotten into it...I know many have, though.

  6. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Stephen!!! I can sure see where Parsons' performance in this commercial could have helped him land the role of Sheldon, but with him being so identified with his Big Bang Theory character now, he might consider it more of a curse than a blessing--kinda like Leonard Nimoy will always be Spock (regardless of the situation) to so very many.

  7. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! I was absolutely shocked when Arlynda took to the show so completely almost immediately. She is planning on publishing a piece on why she loves the show so much. In any event, I should probably worry--right?
