A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  1. Duke says to tell you that you should never lead off with a cat blog. No offense to the cat blog but Duke knows that dogs rule and should always come first :)

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Please tell Duke that I will try to be more careful in the future. Now, go fry him up a slab of bacon for me, and I will settle up with you later.

  10. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Penny!!! Alas, I was far from grown-up when our parents would load up my brother and me, and I often acted like it.

  11. Actually I meant to say when I was growing up. I was young too, and as long as there was an ice cream stand waiting at the end of the Sunday drive, I looked forward to it lol.

  12. Thanks as usual. I had to smile at the one entitled "The Girl Next Door" - an accidental pairing of words and pictures, since I know the picture isn't meant to reflect the blog title. :)

  13. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Penny!!! Yep, the threat of no ice cream would usually straighten me right up, and my wife would tell you that it still works. Sigh.

  14. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Jenny!!! Ah, but in my often twisted way of looking at things, that statue served as the perfect representative for a stone-cold fox living next door. (LOL?)
