ESPN Additions

Ironically, some of the best television commercials are for ESPN, and only air on ESPN.  Now, I do not know if these ads really are meant to add all the more to the viewing experience, but it works for me.

  1. Another sexist advert!
Women's football is a joke but we are supposed to treat it as if it mattered. Yet in adverts the man look bad, the woman good.
Those women would be the first to whine if it was the other way around. Disgraceful sexism, but you get away with it if female!

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Adullamite!!! Ah, but I believe that it goes much farther than pure sexism, such as in the case of the one in light grey, Hope Solo. For the featured women must actually look good--regardless of what they may be wearing or doing, which is not at all a bad thing in my most enlightened opinion. On the other hand (or foot, in the case of soccer) I do not know what to think about dolphins.
