The SOLE purpose of this weekly series is
to help call attention to sites that I think many would find most
interesting—in one way or another. Just
to be clear, inclusion in this series is not necessarily meant as a
recommendation, and I have included sites that are rather disturbing to
me. The link below each image is to the
site itself, and each image is linked to the particular post from which it was
taken when applicable. Please, go see
for yourself. Oh, and as of August 10,
2012, I will be no longer including sites that have auto-play and word
verification engaged.

Wonderful post. I need to do one of these types of send outs on my blog, some day. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear KatieO!!! Alas, my wife used to tell people that I was really nice. Double sigh and a moan.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Cher!!! Oh how I wish I could include your wonderful Footsteps of a Writer site in this series. For it looks like it has lots of interesting things to see/read, but you have that hated word verification spam filter engaged.
ReplyDeleteJust to be clear, it is more than a matter of principle that I have stopped including sites that have it. Although, it has always been a major inconvenience to me, but now that my eyesight has become so poor, trying to decipher the code has become a nightmare.
Furthermore, I am most definitely not the only one who hates word verification with a passion, and with the automatic Blogger spam filter catching most spam, there is really no need to have it engaged. Yes, some spam will get through from time to time, but making it to where Anonymous cannot leave comments should eliminate most of that until they start assigning names to their spam-bots.
Looks like you picked some good ones here. Monday morning motivation, hmmm, that's something I could certainly use
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Yes, and for Tuesday, and for Wednesday, and for Thursday...
ReplyDeleteIt's time for me to do some blog reading, I see! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! I hope you have some nice visits!
ReplyDeleteLiving on Grace looks great to me - I need it. sandie
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Sandie!!! I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteJerry, thanks for including Monday Morning Motivation. Interesting that you chose the Stan Musial picture. Are you a Cardinal fan?
ReplyDeleteAnd, Jerry, I agree with you on those word verification requirements. I have entered the letters 3 or 4 times and still got it wrong.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Harley!!! Back before my eyesight became so poor last year, I looked at those word verification things as a challenge, and I could usually solve it on the first try. Alas, the fun is now gone.
