Back during my childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is
why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

Jerry, thanks for linking to my "mindless ramblings" blog. The Sunday drive is an old tradition here that we still continue with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Ralph!!! Some traditions truly are well worth observing--aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lori!!! Oh how I wish you would consider removing the word verification step to leaving comments on your wonderful site. For what started out as an irritation has grown into a nightmare since my eyesight started going downhill in a hurry, and I am not the only one who hates it.
ReplyDeleteOops, I just saw that I called you Lori instead of Tori! Alas, it would seem that my eyesight is not the only thing about me that is going downhill in a hurry. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry - Thanks for including me on your Sunday drive. What a nice thing to do!
ReplyDeleteI remember taking Sunday afternoon drives as a kid. I enjoy them much more now than I did as a kid. :)
I have to confess the plane is my favourite. Now I am going to visit some of the blogs. Sunday drives are a good idea!
ReplyDeleteOkay lets try happiness. sandie
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late but I'm buckled up and ready to go now
ReplyDeleteJerry, thank you so very much for including me in your Sunday Drive visit. What a great title for your weekly series. I love it!! Am looking forward to riding along with you and visiting some of these blogs. You are so kind, thank you so much again.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Mari!!! Alas, I don't think it would be much different for me now. For my wife would be just as enthusiastic with yelling at me to sit still and be quiet as my parents were. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Jenny!!! Yes, I would have to make a trip over to see that museum if I ever made it to Hawaii, and their website certainly doesn't detract from the appeal.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! New DOT regulations now require all craft projects to be confiscated and locked in the trunk before hitting the road.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Donna!!! Thank you also for wanting to see the other sites. For that is what this is all about!
