Trib Updates

This is a weekly series that will include a brief summary of the latest articles that have been published on The Tribulation Times Herald-Exhorter.  Hopefully, this will encourage you to go check out some truly outstanding articles that have been published by a number of truly outstanding authors.  Moreover, I hope this will also encourage you to want to become a contributing member/author, as well.  The “Hear Ye!  Hear Ye!” site explanation near the top of the side-bar should answer many of your questions.  Yes, this series also included an “SOS! (Spam On Saturdays)”  segment before, but it just wasn’t working for me.  Therefore, that will be replaced by a republishing of one of the Trib articles.

[2016 Obama’s America] contains the trailer for a movie that the president might not be all that anxious for very many to see.

[Ron Hearst Rocks!] has me singing the praises of a member of a local news team for a change.

[Good, Bad and Ugly Ads] features television commercials for DirecTV, SuddenLink Cable and Dish Network.

[WhiteHeart Wednesday] has a video and the lyrics for Carried Away (On the Wings of the Lord).

Ironically, some of the best television commercials are for ESPN and only air on ESPN.  Now, I do not know if these ads really are meant to add all the more to the viewing experience, but it works for me.

  1. I always like those too! It's probably the only thing I really watch on that channel.

  5. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Karen!!! Yes, you-all haven't been hit by the drought--at least not like so many of the rest of us. So, you would have some grass to mow. Ah, but there will be a foot of snow covering everything in about two and a half weeks--right?

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! Well, you probably got what makes that particular commercial so funny. If you didn't, that's Jimmy Johnson, who has won the NASCAR championship 5 out of the last 6 years (I think) out in the ESPN parking lot removing a speed bump.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
