Not every song that
will be featured here will be what is generally considered as being “Christian”
in the eyes of this world. For some will
be anguished cries from the pit of despair, and others will be quite obviously
fervent rants of rebellion. Nonetheless,
be assured that they will all be of our Heavenly Father (in one way or another)
and I hope that you have been given ears to hear the message.
I Wonder
Kellie Pickler
Sometimes I think
about you
Wonder if you're out there somewhere
Thinkin’ about me
And would you even recognize
The woman that your little girl has grown up
to be
‘Cause I look in the mirror
And all I see
Are your brown eyes lookin’ back at me
They're the only thing you ever gave to me
At all
Oh I hear the
weather's nice in California
There's sunny skies as far I can see
If you ever come back home to Carolina
I wonder what you'd say to me
I think about how
it ain't fair
That you weren't there to braid my hair
Like mothers do
You weren't around to cheer me on
Help me dress for my high school prom
Like mothers do
Did you think I didn't need you here
To hold my hand
To dry my tears
Did you even miss me through the years
At all
Oh I hear the
weather's nice in California
There's sunny skies as far I can see
If you ever come back home to Carolina
I wonder what you'd say to me
Forgiveness
Is such a simple
word
But it's so hard to do
QWhen you've been
hurt
Oh I hear the
weather's nice in California
And just in case you're wonderin’ about me
From now on I won't be in Carolina
Your little girl is off
Your little girl is off
Your little girl is off
To Tennessee
Didn’t You Know How
Much I Loved You
Kellie Pickler
I remember the way
you made love to me
Like I was all you'd ever need
Did you change your mind
Well I didn't change mine
Now here I am tryin’ to make sense of it all
We were best friends now we don't even talk
You broke my heart
Ripped my world apart
Didn't you know how
much I loved you
Didn't you know how much I loved you baby
I gave you everything
Every part of me
Didn't you feel it when I touched you
Didn't I rock you when I loved you baby
Baby tell me
Didn't you know how much I loved you
I can't get you out
of my head
I still feel you in this bed
Left me all alone
You couldn't be more gone
From fallin’ apart to fightin’ mad
From wantin’ you back to not givin’ a damn
I've felt it all
I've been to the wall
Didn't you know how
much I loved you
Didn't you know how much I loved you baby
I gave you everything
Every part of me
Didn't you feel it when I touched you
Didn't I rock you when I loved you baby
Baby tell me
Didn't you know how much I loved you
One day justice
will come
And find you
And I'll be right there in your memory
To remind you
Didn't you know how
much I loved you
Didn't you know how much I loved you baby
I gave you everything
Every part of me
Didn't you feel it when I touched you
Didn't I rock you when I loved you baby
Baby tell me
Didn't you know how
much I loved you
Didn't you know how much I loved you baby
I gave you everything
Every part of me
Didn't you feel it when I touched you
Didn't I rock you when I loved you baby
Baby tell me

She is amazing-thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Karen!!! One of the duets (sort of) she did with Taylor Swift is scheduled for Thursday, and it is much more light-hearted.
ReplyDeleteI actually stumbled on this blog through a link in another blog. As you'll see by my name, I actually thought someone had found my blog and linked theirs to mine somehow and that's why I clicked the link because I thought it say "Kelline Pickett", which is my name, but it says "Kellie Pickler." Wow! My family and older friends call me Kellie so I was sure my eyes were seeing correctly. Okay, just one of those small connections that perhaps God uses for His glory. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies, as I just realized you can't "see by my name" without clicking the name itself. Well, it's Kelline Pickett, I promise..LOL. Blessings.
ReplyDeletecan't hear it but she's pretty
