This is a weekly
series that will include a brief summary of the latest articles that have been
published on The Tribulation Times Herald-Exhorter. Hopefully, this will encourage you to go
check out some truly outstanding articles that have been published by a number
of truly outstanding authors. Moreover,
I hope this will also encourage you to want to become a contributing
member/author, as well. The “Hear
Ye! Hear Ye!” site explanation near the
top of the side-bar should answer many of your questions. Yes, this series also included an “SOS! (Spam
On Saturdays)” segment before, but it
just wasn’t working for me. Therefore,
that will be replaced by a republishing of one of the Trib articles.
[Regret]
has RN being painfully honest about something that we all should want to do
better with.
[I Loathe New York – Part 2] has RN getting back into character.
[Baron Cohen’s Dictator Warns West Over Oscar Ban] is a video clip that RN approves
of.
[Mayan Mystery Lights!] has RN reminding us that we need to become fluent in Spanish.
[The Amish] has some observations from me about the PBS documentary recently aired
and the Christian denomination itself.
[Responding to Pro-Abortion Objections – PleaseConvinceMe Podcast 245] is provided by RN.
[Oh well, now this makes lots of sense…] has what keeps RN entertained.
[Creepy, Bald and Evil Wall Street Banker] has some more of what keeps RN entertained.
Have
we really become so arrogant (as a nation) that it is beneath us to apologize
for making a mistake? From the howls of
protest coming from sea to shining sea over our president making a public
apology to the Afghan people for the accidental(?) burning of some Qurans and
religious texts while cleaning out a library on a military base in the country,
it would seem that we have.
As
indicated, there is another thing about the incident that bothers me. For what were we doing burning books of any
kind in the first-place?
No,
the violent reaction of the Afghan people is certainly not helping. For with them rioting in the streets and
murdering U.S. servicemen, they just bolster the resolve of those who think
that we have not done anything to apologize for.
Ah,
but there is a warning in place that we would do well to heed. For it is written: Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty
spirit before a fall. [Proverbs 16:18 KJV]
