TWO FOR TUESDAY

Link: [Roxette]

Not every song that will be featured here will be what is generally considered as being “Christian” in the eyes of this world. For some will be anguished cries from the pit of despair, and others will be quite obviously ferverent rants of rebellion. Nonetheless, be assured that they will all be of our Heavenly Father (in one way or another) and I hope that you have been given ears to hear the message.

Listen To Your Heart
Roxette
I know there’s something
In the wake of your smile
I get a notion from
The look in your eyes yeah
You’ve built a love
But that love falls apart
Your little piece of Heaven
Turns too dark

Listen to your heart
When he’s calling for you
Listen to your heart
There’s nothing else you can do
I don’t know where you’re going
And I don’t know why
But listen to your heart
Before
You tell him goodbye

Sometimes you wonder
If this fight is worthwhile
The precious moments
Are all lost in the tide yeah
They’re swept away
And nothing is what it seems
The feeling of belonging
To your dreams

Listen to your heart
When he’s calling for you
Listen to your heart
There’s nothing else you can do
I don’t know where you’re going
And I don’t know why
But listen to your heart
Before
You tell him goodbye

And there are voices
That want to be heard
So much to mention
But you can’t find the words
The scent of magic
The beauty that’s been
Beauty that’s been
When love was wilder
Than the wind

Listen to your heart
Take a listen
When he’s calling for you
Listen to your heart
Take a listen
There’s nothing else you can do
I don’t know where you’re going
And I don’t know why
But listen to your heart
Before
Ooh
Listen to your heart
Take a listen
When he’s calling for you
Listen to your heart
Take a listen
There’s nothing else you can do
I don’t know where you’re going
And I don’t know why
But listen to your heart
Before
You tell him goodbye

Listen to your heart
Aaah
Listen to your heart
Take it a listen to it
Aaah ah ah
Listen to your heart
Take a
Listen to your heart
Take a listen to it
Listen to your heart
Listen to your heart
Listen to your heart
Listen to your heart
Listen to your heart
Listen to your heart
Listen to your heart

It Must Have Been Love
Roxette
It must have been love
But it’s over now

Lay a whisper
On my pillow
Leave the winter
On the ground
I wake up lonely
There’s air of silence
In the bedroom
And all around
And all around
Touch me now
I close my eyes
And dream away

It must have been love
But it’s over now
It must have been good
But I lost it somehow
It must have been love
But it’s over now
From the moment we touched
‘Til the time had run out

Make-believing
We’re together
That I’m sheltered
By your heart
But in and outside
I’ve turned to water
Like a teardrop
In your palm
And it’s a hard
Winters day
I dream away

It must have been love
But it’s over now
It’s all that I wanted
Now I’m living without
It must have been love
But it’s over now
It’s where the water flows
It’s where the wind blows

It must have been love
Must have been love
But it’s over now
And it’s over now
It must have been good
But I lost it somehow
It must have been love
Must have been love
But it’s over now
Over
It’s over now
From the moment we touched
‘Til the time had run out
Yeah it must have been love
Must have been love
But it’s over now
It was all that I wanted
Now I’m living without
It must have been love
But it’s over now
It’s where the water flows
It’s where the wind blows
Oh oh
It must have been love
But it’s over now
But it’s over now
Now
It must have been love
Must have been love
But it’s over now
It’s over now
Now

  4. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Joey!!! "Listen To Your Heart" is one of the first songs that sounded like it could be made into an openly "Christian" one with just a few changes to the lyrics to me way back when, but after seeing what the lyrics already were, I don't see a thing that needs to be changed.
