ReplyDeleteI'm glad you post lyrics with the songs because I really couldn't understand most of them without reading along. I did like the songs though. The first is rather sad and sometimes it's not a father but a mother leaves.

Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! The first song is especially poignant to me. For my children have been taught that I abandoned them when the truth is that I was run off, and all of my efforts to establish a relationship with them since they have became adults have been rebuffed.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, be assured that I have tried to not say anything that would damage their relationships with their respective mothers. Just in case you are curious, I have two daughters (ages 32 and 28) by my first wife, and a son (age 21) by a lady I never married.
It is useful to try everything in practice anyway and I like that here it's always possible to find something new. :)
