Let My People Go
WhiteHeart
I’m getting so weary
This cross that I carry
Is starting to weight me down
So far down

If this is the nation
Of toleration
Why must our faith be out of sight
And sound

If anything goes
Then let me go my way
I wanna live my life for Him
So let me say

Let my people go
Let my people go
Let my people go
Oh won’t you let my people go

Geraldo is waiting
Media chanting
Alternative voices shout
God is passe’

You don’t have to believe in
The things I believe in
But we’ll watch the world
And see what passes away

The choice is yours
You can roll the dice
Just let me live my life for Him
Always

Let my people go
Let my people go
Let my people go
Oh won’t you let my people
Stake our destiny
In the land of liberty
This cross upon my shoulder
Is making me bolder
Makes me wanna shout
Let my people go

Let my people go

Let my people go
Oh won’t let my people
Let ‘em go
Let my people go
Oh won’t you let my people
Stake our destiny
In the land of liberty
This cross upon my shoulder
Is making me bolder
I wanna shout
Let my people go

Oh let ‘em go

Let my people go

  1. I like you're putting the lyrics, as I don't usually have sound on, often have trouble with anything utubey.

What type of a delivery did you make at The Presidio?

Thanks for coming, hope to see you again

  2. I don't remember just exactly what I delivered to the Presidio. Probably some kind of foodstuffs that needed to be refrigerated.

My first delivery there may have been part of one of the most interesting loads that I ever had. For it involved a multiple drop load of ice cream on military bases out of Indiananpolis, IN, and one of drops was Ft. Ord, which was (I think it's completely shut down now) located just noth of Monterey, CA.

Aside from it being a load of ice cream, which has to be kept at minus 0 degrees F or it will start melting, the interesting part of that particular load was that it also took to me Edwards Air Force Base, CA, which is an alternative landing strip for the space shuttle during periods of bad weather back east, and Ft. Knox, KY, which is where all of the gold is supposed to be.

Okay, it was not so much going to Edwards and Ft. Know that was so interesting as it was that the security at those two bases appeared to be so lax at the time. For I have had weapons trained on me when I have pulled up to the front gate of lowly supply depots before, but at both Edwards and Ft. Knox, the personnel manning the gate wondered why I had pulled over to the side instead of just driving right past. Now, in all fairness, the Air Force guards were all too happy to give me directions to where I needed to take the delivery, but the Army people did not appear to be any too happy to be bothered.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by again, my dear Sandy! Please keep telling us about your adventures.
