TFT: Santana

Link: [Santana]

Not every song that will be featured here will be what is generally considered as being “Christian” in the eyes of this world.  For some will be anguished cries from the pit of despair while others will be quite obviously fervent rants of rebellion.  Nonetheless, be assured that they will all be of our Heavenly Father (in one way or another) and I hope that you have been given ears to hear the message.

Evil Ways
Santana
You've got to change your evil ways
Baby
Before I stop lovin' you
You've got to change
Baby
And every word that I say is true
You've got me runnin'
And hidin'
All over town
You've got me sneakin'
And a-peepin'
And runnin' you down
This can't go on
Lord knows you've got to change
Baby
Baby

When I come home
Baby
My house is dark
And my thoughts are cold
You hang around
Baby
With Jean and Joan
And a-who knows who
I'm gettin' tired
Of waitin’
And foolin’ around
I'll find somebody
That won't make
Me feel like a clown
This can't go on
Lord knows you've got to change

When I come home
Baby
My house is dark
And my thoughts are cold
You hang around
Baby
With Jean and Joan
And a-who knows who
I'm gettin' tired
Of waitin’
And foolin’ around
I'll find somebody
That won't make
Me feel like a clown
This can't go on
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah

Black Magic Woman
Santana
Got a black magic woman
Got a black magic woman
I’ve got a black magic woman
She's got me so blind I can't see
But she's a black magic woman
She's tryin’ to make a devil out of me

Don't turn your back on me baby
Don't turn your back on me baby
Yes
Don't turn your back on me baby
And start messin’ around with your tricks
Don't turn your back on me baby
You just might wake up my magic sticks

Got your spell on me baby
Got your spell on me baby
Yes
You’ve got your spell on me baby
Turnin’ my heart into stone
I need you so bad
Magic woman
I can't leave you alone

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Woods Necker!!! Um, "Woods Necker" doesn't sound quite right--does it? Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed this. By the way, my wife and I have lived in Springfield for the past 15 years or so (I think). She spent many of her earlier years around Cabool while I was around Cassville. Since you also live in Missouri, you know exactly where all of those places are--right? (LOL?)

  3. Both of these offerings make good points of warning. I have some relatives in Springfield...and my dad was born there too. Nice to "meet" you :-)

  4. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Jennifer!!! WOW, YOU GET IT! (Tragically, far too many do not.) Hey, my son lives in Burlington, Washington, which is right next to the I-5 bridge that collapsed north of Seattle a couple of weeks ago. Small country--huh?
