A Sunday Drive

Back during our childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  2. Please remove the link to my copyrighted material from your blog. There is clear notice in several places on my blog that states I do not allow my poetry to be linked, reblogged or posted at other sites without written permission. Also FYI it is just plain unethical and VERY rude to link or reblog without permission *anyone's* work. No need for you to publish this unless you wish to--just remove the link as soon as possible. Any comments issuing from this location will not be published, nor will you receive my permission to link or reblog my material. EVER. Thank you. Joy Ann Jones (Verse Escape)

    1. Well, my dear Ann, there really are all kinds of people out here in cyberspace. There are those who recognize the difference between someone trying to be of help and those who only see ill-will. Thankfully, I have only had to deal with very few who take it to the next level like yourself when there is nothing about our intentions that is meant to steal anything from you or anyone else. Hence, my leaving a notice BOTH times your Verse Escape was featured in one of our series. Be assured that all of the links have been removed, and your site will not be included in our new directory for the foreseeable future. Hopefully, you will become more sociable someday.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lin!!! I do not understand why someone like that would not have their site being private to start with.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
