“Come Monday…” is a weekly series that will involve a review of (or commentary about) websites, movies, documentaries, television shows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time. Be assured that these reviews will be generally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “Come Monday.” This is subject to change, however. In fact, I would be most derelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while. For rants promote change, and change can be good—right? Therefore, since good is generally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the parallel universes that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as being something positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).
As my regulars have come to know and love, I am as considerate a person as most will ever meet. Oh, and the way I just expressed that goes to further prove just how humble at heart I truly am. For I could have said that I am as considerate a person as anyone will ever meet.
Yes, the title to this edition was with my regulars in mind. For I wanted to put their minds at ease before revealing that their own little worlds may look like they are ending this coming Wednesday (October 8, 2014).
Well, at least in the way they have known them to be in all of the most important aspects. For I simply no longer have the energy to keep up my current efforts to give those with dull and meaningless lives something to look forward to each day. Therefore, some drastic changes to the line-up needed to be made, and this will be the last Come Monday… edition for the foreseeable future.
No, there is no need to panic. For the typical content of this series will be included in Whatsoever Wednesdays. This new series will also have what was typically in the Hall of Fame Ads and Saturday Morning Cartoons (+) series, along with whatsoever else tickles my fancy, which will undoubtedly tickle your own (if you have a fancy).
The biggest shock to many a system is that I will be taking Saturdays off, but that should be eased somewhat by me adding another edition of my All-Time Favorite Tunes series each week. This is scheduled to begin next Monday (October 13).
Yeah, everything is going to be just fine, but I can see where you might be feeling rather nauseous at this time. I would advise keeping your mouth pointed away from your monitor and keyboard—not to mention small and/or easily angered pets, until the feeling passes. See, my thoughts are always on your well-being!
